Susan Maguire  Mrs. Maguire, Mr. Elwood's secretary, is always willing to help and has a smile for everyone. 
   

Upon entering the building you will find yourself in the middle school commons area.  It serves as a meeting/serving area for the 6th and junior high students.  The trophy case located in the commons area displays many of the awards earned by the student body.

   
   
Mrs. Pearce, the middle school secretary, wears many hats during the day.  She greets everyone with a smile.  Mrs. Berens, the middle/high school principal, is a familiar face around the building.
Marcia  Mrs. Lippert, the school nurse, splits her duties between the elementary, middle school and high school buildings.. 
   
, Mr. Irvin, helps students with career planning, course selection, and personal problems.   Students can look at the college catalogs for information on various careers.   A computer is available in this area for students to do online applications.
   
   
The student counseling center is used for the student assistance team, college representatives, and other small group meetings.
   
This kitchen is located on the north side of the commons area.  It servers breakfast and lunch for the middle school students.  There are 2 lunch periods to accommodate the junior high students.
   
The family consumer science room has a kitchen area, an area for sewing, and a classroom area where students study marketing, fashion design, independent living and child development.
 

Students have access to 20 computers in the business lab.  The lab also provides experiences with other technology equipment.  Students work with various software programs and their applications.  The computers class can be taken for college credit during the students junior or senior year.

   
There is a 12 station computer lab which is availale for class and student use.  Teachers can schedule classes in the lab or students can request individual time to work on research projects
   
. From the commons area this hallway leads past the business and family consumer science rooms.  8th grade lockers are located down this hallway.  This passage leads to the science and art department or the new gym.
   
   
  The north and south science rooms are where the biology and earth science classes are taught. Health classes are taught in the north science room also.

High school and junior high students are given the opportunity to enroll in classes for water color, drawing, acrylics, oil painting, and pottery. 
 
   
The new east gym is the sight of many junior high and junior varsity volleyball, basketball games, and home wrestling meets.
The addition of the second gym allows Treynor to host two different sporting events at the same time.  This addition has eased the scheduling of practice for all sports.  Many other community activities can now take place at the high school.
 
The wrestling room was part of the new addition completed in 1999.  It contains its own weight area.
   
   
The industrial arts area of the building includes a wood shop, metal shop, and a classroom for drafting.  The classroom has four computers for students enrolling in autocad.  Students also have the chance to experience robotics.

The chorus and band rooms are found across the hall from the shop. The instrumental room is designed to aid in the direction of the large marching and concert bands that consistently receive Division I ratings and State Championship Awards.
 
The auditorium has a seating capacity of  300 and is the site of musicals, concerts, guest lectures, and drama presentations.
   
Mr. Gordon is the athletic director and physical education instructor.  His office is located across from the high school locker rooms and adjacent to the high school weight room.

The weight room is used year round for student athletes. 
The west gym is used for hosting sporting activities, community wide programs, and large group contests. The Treynor Cardinal mascot is painted on the west wall.
   
The stairway in the commons leads to the second and third floor classrooms.  The elevator for handicapped students is found next to the stairway.

The ICN room is where students have the opportunity to enroll in post-secondary classes as well as participating in audio/video conferencing. The library provides not only research materials, but fictional selections and a computer lab with access to many data bases.  Students may use electronic circulation and card catalog through the schools network.  
 
  This hall connects the new high school addition to the existing structure.
   
The high school commons area is used as a gathering place for high school students. It also serves as a study hall, breakfast and lunch area.   The kitchen facilities has a streamlined serving area.
 
   
The kitchen facilities has the capability of preparing food for seven hundred people.

The computer lab in the new addition has 26 computers as well as a mounted projector to assist teachers with instruction.
   
   
Shelly Bailey, the technical coordinator is shown working in her office which is next to the computer lab.  The lab's windows look out onto the commons area.
